Abstract The George F. and Florence Shermen Roberts papers (1908-1913) contain a bound petition from the University of Utah Alpha Pi Fraternity to establish a chapter of Beta Theta Pi at the University of Utah; a leather bound program from the installation banquet of the Gamma Beta chapter of Beta Theta Pi; and a photocopy of a calendar from the University of Utah.

Abstract The George F. and Florence Shermen Roberts photograph collection contains a University of Utah calendar from 1910, a football photograph, and a petition to the University to establish the Beta Theta Pi fraternity at the school. Beta Theta Pi was founded in 1839 at Miami University. It was established at the University of Utah in 1913.
