The Calder Richards Consulting Engineers records (1974-2002) is a collection of project files and blueprints of plans for the venues at the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics. Records for this collection are organized by Olympic venue location (i.e. Deer Vally, Snow Basin, etc.). Within these categories are different projects that pertain to each venue's designs. As well there are several boxes of general projects and project designs that pertain to all of the Olympic Venues.

The Deedee Corradini papers (1960-2013) consist primarily of materials on the 2002 Olympic Games, including brochures, pamphlets, reports, and bid books. Also included are materials relating to her campaign. Dee Corradini was elected mayor of Salt Lake City in 1991 and served two consecutive terms. She was instrumental in bringing the 2002 Winter Olympic Games to Salt Lake City.

The Randy L. Dryer papers (1987-2005) contains materials related to Dryer's work with the Utah Sports Authority as a member of the Board of Trustees and Management Committee of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games Organizing Committee. He also served as chair of the Utah Athletic Foundation.

The David W. Eckhoff papers (1870s-2001) contain materials on the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympics and various Utah water projects, mainly the West Desert Pumping Project. Eckhoff, a civil engineer with degrees from various California institutions, has won several awards for his engineering projects, including the 1991 Engineer of the Year award by the Utah Engineers Council.

The Michael Joseph Gorrell papers (1871-2014) contain professional materials, Salt Lake Organizing Committees' General Assembly documents, newsletters, memorabilia, press releases and news clippings collected by Salt Lake Tribune reporter Mike Gorrell during the seven years (1995-2002) that he covered Salt Lake City's preparations for the 2002 Winter Olympics, as well as other materials collected throughout the course of Gorrell's journalistic career

The H. Guy Child Elementary School Olympic activities records (2002) contain a notebook of the preporatory events the school put on in anticipation of the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, in 2002.

The David Hanscom papers (1961-2008) contain materials and notes on the Wasatch Tours series which Hanscom co-authored. This collection also contains Olympic race materials, correspondence, Olympic Feasibility Committee materials, notes, Wasatch Citizens series materials, Utah Nordic Alliance newsletters and event materials, venue information, and ski posters and flyers.

The Brad Mauss papers (2000-2001) contain correspondence, notes, booklets, planning maps and drawings regarding the logistics of the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Carole Olufsen collection (2002) consists of national news clippings regarding the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.

The Clark J. Phelps papers (2002) contain newsletters sent via email to a small group of friends. Contents focus primarily on the peculiarities of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with a minor emphasis on the events surrounding the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City.

The Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games records (1959-2003) document the planning, management, and logistics of hosting the 2002 Olympic Winter Games held in Salt Lake City, Utah. These records are organized according to function and contain a variety of materials such as correspondence, reports, marketing materials, news clippings, guides, meeting minutes, manuals, and more.

The Anthony and Herbert Schwartz papers (1960-2003) consists of materials regarding the Winter Olympic Games held in Salt Lake City, Utah, along with other materials regarding ski resorts and skiing.

This collection contains uniforms from the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City.

The University of Utah Olympic planning records (2000-2002) contain various signs and banners, a flag from the Paralympics, and a book for volunteers. The University of Utah hosted the Olympic Village as well as the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City.

The Larry James Warren papers (1984-2002) contain clippings from the Park City Magazine, Park City Guest Guide, and the Lodestar. Also included in the collection are various transcripts of radio interviews. Warren is a special features television reporter in the Salt Lake area. He is also actively involved in the University of Utah's Ski Archives.
