The ARPANET training video (undated) is a United States Army training video for a Node Site Coordinator working with the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET), a precursor to today's internet. The University of Utah's Computer Science Department's Ivan Sutherland ran one of the original interface message processors (IMP) for the ARPANET project.

The Flora Stewart Bennion photograph collection contains photographs documenting the nursing career in the U. S. Army of Flora Stewart Bennion, chiefly in Europe during World War I. Included in the collection are photographs taken in Italy after the war and a few photographs of activities at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, circa 1904.

The Francis Marion Bishop civil war correspondence (1861-1866) consist of thirty letters written by Bishop while a soldier in the Union Army and later as a student at Wesleyan University.

The Camp Kearns scrapbook (1944-1946) details the activities and events that took place in daily life at the camp. Camp Kearns was an Army Air Base that was established during the Second World War. It operated from 1942-1948.

The Albert G. Clayton papers (2007) consist of a transcription of Clayton's original World War 1 diary.

A photograph album created by an unidentified man who served in the United States military containing black and white photographs and postcards. These depict Dugway Proving Grounds near Tooele, Utah, scenic Utah views, and United States Army soldires engaging in leisure activity like hiking and rock-hunting.

The Marguerite McQuiston Evans photograph collection contains only negatives. These negatives include a portrait of Marguerite McQuiston Evans, and a variety of photographs and documents concerning her involvement as Director of the Service Club in Wendover, Nevada, during 1944.

The Fort Bridger, Utah Territory Album photograph collection contains 24 cartes de visite photographs depicting the officers and their wives who were stationed at Fort Bridger, Utah Territory, in the 1860s.

Theodore “Ted” Fujiki (1922-2007) was a veteran of the United States Army who served during World War II. This collection contains one image of Fujiki during his military service.

James R. Holbrook is a clinical law professor at the University of Utah and served during the Vietnam War. Theis collection consists of 1 box containing 102 black-and-white and color photograph prints depicting Holbrook's military service, photographs related to his career in law and mediation, and personal photographs of friends and pets.

Vince Iturbe (1946-2017) served in the United States Army in Vietnam. In 1976, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he worked for the Utah Department of Workforce Services and volunteered for the Community Nursing Services' Journey Home hospice program. This collection contains color slides and scrapbook pages related to Iturbe's military service in Vietnam between 1969 and 1970.

Walter Jones (1944-) is a veteran of the United States Army, military historian, and archivist who served as head of the Western Americana division of the University of Utah's J. Willard Marriott Library Special Collections and Archives. This collection contains slides and photographs related to Jones' experience and scholarship on twentieth century American military history and photographs of street fairs in the Avenues neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Walter R. Jones papers (1920-2013) consist of correspondence, military reports, pamphlets, meeting minutes, training guides, handbooks, manuscripts, conference papers, research materials, short stories, articles, and bibliographical information.

The Virginia Kelson photograph collection contains chiefly photographs of the career of Leslie J. Paul in the U. S. Army. The collections also includes portraits of Paul and his family, an informal group portraits of soldiers, as well as photographs and postcards collected by Leslie J. Paul in Europe immediately after World War II.

The Leo Leonard papers (1900-1975) contain correspondence, programs and announcements, traveling brochures, awards and certificates, newspaper clippings, books, maps, and other documents related to Leo Bradford Leonard's life and his career in the United States Army. The William Engel Millner oral history transcript (2006) is of a series of interviews with Millner (b. 1920) conducted by Marsha Lundgren at the Utah Veteran's Association Nursing Home in Salt Lake City. The interviews were conducted between January and April 2006.

The Sylvester Mowry papers (1855) contain two letters detailing his experiences in the United States Army, in the year 1855. The collection also contains transcripts of the correspondence, and a short biography of Mowry (1832 or 1833-1871).

The James B. Murphy photograph collection contains 7 black and white laser prints of the 22nd Battery at they traveled through Utah, including images of Fort Douglas and Camp Sugar Springs. The images are enlarged prints from digital scans of the original photographs, and have Murphy's original captions copied on the back. The images are undated, but likely date from about 1890-1900.
