W. J. Goodwin papers
The W. J. Goodwin papers (1919, 1923-1924) contain a logbook which documents two trips in which Goodwin participated as a University of Utah engineering student. The first trip was a summer tour of U.S. National Parks and Canada. The second trip was a mining trip to California. Also included is a paper by Ethel Smith that discusses the Canadian Industrial Disputes Act of 1910.
A. Russell Gray biography
The A. Russell Gray biography consist of an excerpt of a book written by Gray's uncle, John Saunders, and an excerpt of Gray's autobiography. The book excerpt includes information about the east bench of Salt Lake City in 1867 and details living conditions and other aspects of Salt Lake during its infancy. Russell's autobiography describes the Unviersity of Utah around 1912 and relates personal stories. It is unclear when these excerpts were written.

Elizabeth Haglund (b. 1914) worked for the University of Utah for twenty-nine years, first as executive director of public relations and later as special assistant to the president.
