The Albert C. Allen photograph collection contains portraits of Albert C. Allen, members of his family, and soldiers. The collection also contains photographs documenting Allen's service with the Utah Volunteer Artillery, and his paricipation in the Ute Indian Wars, the Spanish-American War, and the Philippines Rebellion.

The Isaac K. Russell photograph collection consists of images of members of Battery A, Utah Field Artillery and other soldiers in the Philippines during the Spanish-American War.

The Utah Batteries A and B records contain payroll documents for several volunteers along with general orders directed to Major Richard W. Young. Utah Batteries A and B participated in the capture of Manila and the surrender of Spanish troops in 1898 during the Spanish-American War.
