Abstract The S. Lyman Tyler papers (circa 1694-1973) consists of evidentiary files from Pima-Maricopa decision of 1962 (Indian Claims Commission Docket No.228) and hearing transcripts; drafts of Tyler's books; drafts of books by others; research files on Western Indian tribes; clippings from newspapers throughout the United States concerning American Indian tribes.
