Abstract The Blue Tea Society minute book (1875-1883) details the meetings of this organization. The Blue Tea Society was formed in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1875 with the object of "the promotion of mental culture," of which the Ladies' Literary Club was an outgrowth. Membership was limited to twenty-five women.
