Abstract

The Helen B. Andelin audio collection (1976) consists of an abridged audiobook recording of Andelin's 1963 book, Fascinating Womanhood. A proponent of traditional gender roles, which she believed were the key to a successful marriage, Andelin originally wrote the book in 1963 to correspond with the marriage enrichment classes she was teaching. The Fascinating Womanhood movement continues to thrive today.

Helen began sharing the secrets of her own happy marriage with small groups of women in Fresno, California, in the early 1960s.
