Irene M. Bates was a historian and author who focused on the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This colleciton contains images of Bates and her family and of David O. McKay at Ground Breaking for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Temple in England in 1958.

The Hyrum B. Calder photograph collection contains two photographs of Hyrum Calder and David O. McKay, dated 1898.

The David Oman McKay photograph collection consists of four unidentified portraits believed to be of members of the McKay family; two group portraits of LDS missionaries.

Llewelyn Riggs McKay (1904-1975) was a professor at the University of Utah who served as head of the Language Department from 1945 until 1965. His father, David O. McKay, was the ninth president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This collection contains portraits of Llewelyn McKay, David O. McKay, and photographs of the McKay family. It also contains photographs documenting the mission that Llewelyn McKay served in Germany between 1922 and 1925.

The Nicholas Groesbeck Morgan photograph collection constists mainly of copy images made from scrapbooks and albums. Subjects are primarily noted Utah and Mormon personalities, as well as views of historically significant buildings and places in Utah.
