Abstract The Albert Robison Lyman 27-page booklet (1997) focuses on Edward Partridge's conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1830 and his subsequent activities as a church leader. Included are copies of letters written by Edward Partridge and of a patriarchal blessing given to him by Joseph Smith.

Abstract The Platte De Alton Lyman papers (1898-1901) consist of a diary [typescript] by Lyman and a biography of Lyman by his son, Albert R. Lyman. Platte Lyman was a cattle and horse rancher in southern Utah. He also served in various capacities in the LDS Church.
