The John Weisheit papers (1871-1992) contain a copy of a manuscript for a book on Cataract Canyon, as well as research materials related to Cataract Canyon, the Grand Canyon, the Green River, and other notable Western rivers. John Weisheit is a wilderness guide for Tag-A-Long Expeditions. He also serves on non-profit boards such as the Canyonlands Field Institute and the Colorado Plateau River Guides.
