Abstract The Vernal Holley research paper (1993) is entitled, "Josephus and the New Testament." It is a 55-page research document about the Jewish writer, Josephus ben Matthias (A.D. 37-A.D. 100 ca.). The author uses the writings of Josephus ben Matthias and the New Testament to research the existence of Christ and the reality of various events that take place in the New Testament.
