The Hawley family biographical sketch (1937) consist of recorded stories and family history by Sarah Ellis Hawley Pierson of her grandparents, William John Hawley and Ellis Smith Hawley. The stories cover her grandparents' seasonal sugar tapping in Canada around 1816, their move to Iowa and conversion to Mormonism, then their move to Pleasant Grove, Utah.
