Abstract The Brigham D. Madsen papers (1854-2000) contain diaries, correspondence, research files, and manuscripts. In addition, there is primary and secondary source material on the Northwestern Shoshone Indians, most particularly the Shoshone and Bannock, whose tribal lands are now limited to the Fort Hall Indian Reservation in Southeastern Idaho.
