Abstract The collection (1964-1978) consists of materials relating to M. Neff Smart's involvement in starting school/community newspapers in Ghana. Included are correspondence, reports, and issues of The Densu Times distributed to students in rural Ghana (1974-1976). Smart was a professor of journalism at the University of Utah.
