Abstract The R. Kent Fielding papers (1840-1998) consist of Fielding's writings and the research materials he gathered for them. The collection reflects his interest in the history of the LDS Church, the Mountain Meadows Massacre, and his transition from being a member of the LDS Church to being a secular humanist.

Abstract R. Kent Fielding (1920-) was a writer and educator who taught at Brigham Young University in the 1950s. The R. Kent Fielding photograph collection contains 26 black-and-white and color negatives and photographs collected by R. Kent Fielding in relation to his research between 1945 and 1970.
