The Danel W. Bachman thesis (1970) consist of Bachman's Brigham Young University graduate paper entitled "Joseph Morris and the Morrisites."

The Karl Banks essay consist of an undated typed and hand-written paper by Banks titled "A Brief History of John Banks and the Morrisite Movement."

The Mark H. Forscutt paper (circa 1862) consist of Forscutt's partial history of the Morrisite church, of which he served as clerk. The Morrisite church was formed as a result of the death of Joseph Smith Jr. (1805-1844), prophet and president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Jacob Miller papers (1809-1960) are comprised of Jacob Miller's diary, correspondence, news clippings, and family diaries and biographical sketches. Jacob Miller (1835-1911) was an early settler of Farmington, Utah, and member of the LDS Church.
