Abstract The James T. Steel correspondence (1880-1971) consist of a letter from Steel to his brother-in-law in South Africa in which he describes his family and contemporary issues in Utah. The collection also includes a letter from the U.S. Consulate General in South Africa and two letters concerning the provenance of the collection.
