Abstract
The Aziz Suryal Atiya photograph collection contains materials realted to his career as a teacher, scholar and author. Included are portratis of Dr. Atiya as well as gatherings, meetings, events, and images of arabic papyrus. Aziz S. Atiya was the founding director of the Middle East Center at the University of Utah. He was the author of many books and articles and editor of the Coptic Encyclopedia.

The Donna Toland Smart papers (1846-1888 and 1938-2015) contain correspondence and research files, note cards, diary transcripts, and manuscript drafts. The bulk of the collection is related to Mormon Midwife: The 1846-1888 Diaries of Patty Bartlett Sessions, edited by Smart and published by Utah State University Press in 1997.
