File — Box: 4, Folder: 19
Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The William Wheeler papers (1880-1937) are comprised of three main groups of materials. The first group consists of correspondence to the Wheeler family, i.e. William, Martha, Jerome, and Andrew. This correspondence covers the years 1875-1960. The second group of materials relate to Perry School in Slaterville, Weber County, where the Wheeler family lived and took an active part in educational affairs. Included are minutes of trustees meetings, population and financial reports, teachers' term reports, and school registers. The third group contains materials dealing with a variety of subjects; political subjects (local, state, and national) form a substantial part of this group. An important subgroup is the associations in which the Wheeler's were involved, including the Utah Poultry Association and the Weber Central Dairy Association. There are also materials concerning Slaterville irrigation companies.
