Diary 1860-1862 and autobiographical sketch. Content and name index. Patented a shingle-cutting machine 8 December 1829. Joined LDS church June 1831. Member of Deseret Legislature 1849-1850. Diary contains numerous original, spiritual poems and hymns as well as general descriptions of life in southern Utah communities. 99 pp.
