Noonan, a miner and prospector, was interviewed by Dorothy Erick and Suzanne Simon in Blanding, Utah. Subjects: the radio-geophysical technique, schooling, radon detection equipment, exploring the Shumway property, Elk Ridge, the Happy Jack mine, radioactivity at the mills, the VCA pilot mill, business dealings with the Shumway family, personal mining ventures, experiences with Navajos, miners and working conditions, mining camps, efficiency and costs ( 78 pages) He later talked with Kathy Biel about his Navajo partner, Johnny Delsey. Subjects: Navajos and money, Red Sky, cultural differences, a rape trial, Navajo wages (9 pages).
