Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Gaylon W. Hansen papers (1919-1980s) consist of mining records for various Utah mining areas and plant productions, with a large portion concentrating on the Midvale Plant. Included are reports, correspondence, insurance materials, journal vouchers and entries, index cards, maps and plans, and other documents. Many of these materials deal with the United States Smelting, Refining, and Mining Company (U. S. S. R. and M. Co.).
