From the Collection: The John R. Wendel papers (1922-2000) focus on Wendel's teaching career at the University of Arizona from 1967 to the late 1990s. Included in the collection are writings by Wendel and others, correspondence, news articles, publication extracts, notes, newsletters, pamphlets, and other materials, mainly regarding Wendel's teaching of German and the humanities. The collection also includes materials related to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and Wendel's father, John Max Wendel.
