Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Barrick Resources collection (1985-1986) contains clippings from newspapers, mining trade journals, and other publications that discuss the acquisition and operation of the Mercur gold mine in Tooele County, Utah. The collection, arranged in approximate chronological order, also contains articles on mine safety and legal issues. It also includes seminar and workshop materials pertaining to the Uranium Industry and the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC).
