From the Collection: The Walter Daniel Bonner family papers (1924-1955) consist primarily of correspondence, but also include some news clippings, programs, and other materials. The letters cover the Depression era, World War II, and post-war years. Most of the letters are to Walter and Grace Bonner from their seven children (James Frederick, Lyman Gaylord, Priscilla, David Mahlon, Robert Nelson, Walter Daniel Jr., and Francis Truesdale) and are arranged chronologically. Miscellaneous materials and correspondence between relatives and friends are filed in the last box of the collection.
