From the Sub-Series: Box 3 contains correspondence and other materials from members of the Nutter family, including two brothers, Cree and Jasper, sister Burlinda (Burr) Bailey, sister in law Sallie Nutter, nephews T. C. Nutter, Paul Nutter, and John Clawson, and nieces Grace Bailey Purdy, Myna Nutter, and Mary Clawson. Many of the letters are requests for money or help in starting a business. Other items besides correspondence include notebooks, check registers and cancelled checks, receipts, and obituaries. Folder 16 contains a genealogy chart of the Nutter family. Unless otherwise noted, all letters are addressed to Preston Nutter.
