The notebooks of Howard C. Price, Jr., general manager of the ranch from 1953 to 1977, and president of the corporation from 1977 to his death in 1982 are filed in Box 6. They contain only brief notes about cattle tallys, descriptions of cattle or horses, and reminders of things to do "in town."
