  1. February 15, 1858 - Road to St. Joseph to Winter Quarters; Peart, Jacob, to (Wife Angela ?)
  2. Lines of verse, expressing his love for his wife and narrating the plight of the Mormons as they were driven from their homes and start on the trek West.
  3. November 13, 1856 - "Loss Vagus, T. U.," to (Logan, Utah ?); Peart, Jacob, to Dear Wife, Angela Peart
  4. Loving letter concerned about his wife's illness. Discusses name for the new baby. On the reverse side of the letter he writes "An Acrostic," expressing his feelings for their new child, each line starting with a letter of the proposed name Brigham Lehi Loss Peart.
