Correspondence, 1943

 File — Box: 7, Folder: 2

Scope and Contents

  1. January 14, 1943-"I know little or nothing about Orson Pratt's marriages, except that a fearful tangle probably exists in heaven from all the women who got sealed to him after his death; I understand that a lot of straightening out will be necessary after judgment day."
  2. September 10, 1943-"I think David O. [McKay] really was thinking it would be a hell of a note to be uncle to a naturalistic biographer of the prophet; it would be a reflection on him. If he couldn't keep the members of his own family converted, what future was there for him as a president of the church?"
