From the Collection: The Arthur C. Deck papers (1962-1980) consist of materials collected by Deck in his capacity as an officer of the American Society of Newspaper Editors. The collection includes primarily correspondence from and about the American Society of Newspaper Editors concerning membership, finances, and other internal matters. Also included are correspondence, legal briefs, legislative bills, and reports concerning freedom of the press, freedom of information, and press-bar and press-government controversies.
