Scope and Contents

Newell maintained a card index to her research materials. The index, organized by subjects, is contained in boxes 23 and 24. Since the material has been regrouped to better aid researchers, file numbers indicated on cards are no longer valid; however, the index remains valuable for its general information as well as for indicating, in many cases, the location of original source material.
