Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Cochranism collection (circa 1816-1983) consists of photocopies of articles, history excerpts, and court documents regarding Jacob Cochran and the religious sect he founded in 1816. These materials were collected by Don McDermott, a graduate student at the University of Utah, while he was conducting research to determine if any of the Cochran sect later joined the LDS Church.
