"Powers of the Human Mind," J. B. Trunnell, January 1966

 File — Box: 21, Folder: 9
Identifier: II

Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series: The L.D.S. church-owned magazine, The Instructor, began running the "I Believe . . ." series in 1965. Articles written by active members of the L.D.S. church considered competent to speak as scholars in their fields were published monthly with the intent of "aiding readers and advisors of youth in the discussion of modern problems." Billed as a series for the inquiring mind, the articles addressed the apparent conflicts as well as similarities of modern scientific research and the doctrine of the L.D.S. church.
