Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The June Rose Harwood papers (1890-1982) consist of the diaries, school papers, notebooks, financial records, and correspondence of June Harwood (b. 1904). In addition to these materials are papers relating to Ruth Harwood, James and Harriet Harwood, and Frank Spring (husband of June Rose Harwood). The five boxes of Ruth Harwood materials include correspondence, brochures, manuscripts, books, poetry, and sketches. Of special note in the collection are Ruth Harwood's letters to June and June's diaries, all of which provide an intimate look into the family's life.
