From the Series: This section contains items connected with companies that maintained some form of business relationship with Evans & Sutherland. The companies may have provided products to Evans & Sutherland, purchased Evans & Sutherland products, or maintained marketing and/or product collaboration agreements with Evans & Sutherland. David Evans served on the Board of Directors of some of these companies, including Redifon/Rediffusion, Adobe Industries, Mosaic Systems, Inc. and VLSI Industries. The first 32 boxes hold materials for companies for which large amounts of items were found: Redifon/Rediffusion (65-75), Adobe Industries (76-77), McDonnell Douglas (78-79), Mosaic Systems, Inc. (80-85), Shape Data (86-87), Unicad (88), the United States Government (88-89), and VLSI Industries (91-96). Boxes 97-108 contain items relating to other companies, and are arranged alphabetically by company name. Unless otherwise specified, folders in boxes 97-108 contain only correspondence.

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.

One original letter has been removed and placed in Reserve. A photocopied version is available in the collection for access purposes. Access to the original must be given by the Manuscripts Curator and by appointment. An archivist must remain with the item if being used.
