Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Garth N. Jones papers (1986-2006) contain articles, papers, and related correspondence. These writings include a review of a paper on Thomas Stuart Ferguson, a biography of Jones's ancestor James T. Lisonbee, an article entitled: "'Acres of Diamonds': Studies of Development Administration and the Mormon Experience," and "In Search of Zarahemla, 1900-1902," which narrates an expedition aimed at proving the Book of Mormon's historicity. Other articles include "Indonesia Raya: Istana and Umat in an Obscuring Imperial Order," and "The Ahmadis of Islam: A Mormon Encounter and Perspective."
