Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The Agnes Mero Plenk papers (1947-2004) contain materials relating to Plenk's work in the fields of educational and child psychology. Included in the collection is Plenk's history of the Children's Center of Salt Lake City, Hold Fast to Dreams, and a manuscript of her book Helping Young Children at Risk: A Psycho-Educational Approach, also included are related synopses, notes, book promotionals, and correspondence with publishers. The collection also contains articles from newspapers, magazines, and conferences related to psychology; news clippings; papers delivered by others at lectured such as the Master Lectures on Developmental Psychology series; informational pamphlets focusing on child rearing and mental health; course materials on sexism and eating disorders; guidelines for child raising and child care giving; newsletters; and other materials, such as program manuals, concerned with psychology and child psychology in particular.
