Scope and Contents
- Anonymous, interviewed by Marshall Johnson, moved from Russia to Utah.
- Man Diep, interviewed by Brad Garner, spent six months in a Philippine refugee camp after leaving Vietnam. After leaving the Philippines, he moved to Utah.
- Hristo Angelov Ignatov, interviewed by Ginny Wilson, was a chicken farmer in Bulgaria before moving to Utah in 1992.
- Tanya Klowkow, interviewed by Amy Fotheringham, moved to Utah from South Africa to attend Brigham Young University.
- Natalia Lapin, interviewed by Nicole Van Buskirk, was born in Gomel, Belarus, and moved to Utah in 1991.
- Duong Thuy Le (Katie), interviewed by Shannon Smith, moved to Utah from Vietnam at the age of 14.
- Thanh N. Truong, interviewed by Shannon Smith, came to the US from Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He discusses his adjustment to life in the United States.
- Nina Miners, interviewed by Michael Zenger, came to the US from Russia to seek medical treatment for her son. She discusses the differences between Russia and the US, particularly the differences in medicine.
- Dat Phan, interviewed by Amy Trimble, discusses his attempts to leave Vietnam for the US, as well as his career as an architect.
- Redzo, Fatima, and Tina, a married couple and their daughter, were interviewed by Doug Stoll. Redzo describes his life before and after emigrating from Bosnia to the US, Tina (Radzo's daughter) translates, and Fatima (Radzo's wife) offers additional comments on the move and life in the US.
- Anonymous, interviewed by Darlene Palmer, discusses the changes that took place in the Soviet Union from 1985 to the early 1990s and his perception of life in the US.
