Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Joseph L. Chandler papers (1947-1958) comprise eleven scrapbooks documenting activities connected with the Pioneer Day parade and celebration in Salt Lake City. The scrapbooks are focused on the Days of '47 Parade, and hold event programs, news clippings, and other documents. Box 1 also hold loose documents. The scrapbooks were created by Joseph L. Chandler, who served as the president of the Days of '47 Committee and chair of its Parade Committee.
