From the Collection: The Francis Armstrong family papers (1860-1960) contain autobiographies, biographies, obituaries, correspondence, genealogy records, and newspaper articles. Francis Armstrong Madsen is a local businessman who compiled this resource on his mother's ancestor, Francis Armstrong. The bulk of the collection consists of information on Francis Armstrong and his family. At the end of the collection is a list of the modern-day descendants of the children. The collection has been kept in the original order, and the original titles of each folder are intact.
