Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Evelyn Chase Robison papers (1892-1995) are largely made up of correspondence between Evelyn Chase Robison (1914-1995) and her husband, Dr. Benjamin Franklin (B.F.) Robison. The letters were written during the years of 1942-1943 when Dr. Robison, a doctor for the navy, was stationed at naval bases in both Farragut, Idaho and Mare Island, California. Evelyn Chase Robison and their son, Pinky, could not accompany Dr. Robison and remained in Provo, Utah during this time. Included with this correspondence are also some letters from Dr. Robison's mother. The rest of the collection consists of more recent correspondence from the family and friends of Evelyn Chase Robison, the death certificates of Dr. B.F. Robison and her stepmother, Christina Stevenson Springmeyer, and other types of documents.
