Scope and Contents

The clippings in this scrapbook are cartoon drawings of various things that capture human interest. A majority of the pictures are drawings of people from around the world and are accompanied by a small, lighthearted blurb about the customs of that particular culture. Images depicted range from the hairstyles of African tribes, to the lifestyle of the Eskimos. Many cartoons give information about countries China, Japan, Korea and India. Some of the pictures are of historical figures, eras and inventions from both Europe and the United States.
