Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The Alice Gold and Silver Mine records (1880-1906) contain correspondence, receipts, account balances, insurance memoranda, orders, assay reports, general ledgers, telegrams, and an 1896 annual report on the mine located in Walkerville, Montana. Includes correspondence from Matthew H. Walker and two company secretaries, Benjamin G. Raybould and L. H. Farnsworth. The letters are all addressed from the company headquarters in Salt Lake City to the mine superintendent at Walkerville, either William E. Hall or T. W. Buzzo.
