From the Collection:
The Hancock Brothers Fruit Merchants records contains correspondence between the Hancock brothers and George Johnston regarding the various aspects of transactions between the two groups. Most of the produce that they purchased from Johnston were grapes. Much of the correspondence regarding business between the Hancock Brothers and Johnston refered to the status of the grape market in Salt Lake City and the conditions of the produce. Memos included note details regarding business with Johnston and invoives represent the physical and financial details of exchange. Besides these, this collection also contains bookets regarding refriderating tariffs between Utah and California for the years 1913, 1914, and 1915.
