Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The Talbot A. Chubb papers (1930-2011) consist of materials resulting from Chubb's research interests in cold fusion and the physics field. The collection has been organized in twelve series.
Series I. consists of personal and professional materials which includes several notebooks and copies of e-mail correspondence. This series is arranged into a subseries of administrative materials consisting of projects, proposals, contracts, funding and travel materials.
Series II. consists of Chubb's professional writings which includes manuscript drafts of books such as Cold Fusion: Clean Energy for the Future and numerous research articles. Included are several articles co-authored by Scott R. Chubb and others.
Series III. consists of presentations, such as printed PowerPoint materials, that Chubb and/or others presented to various conferences or institutions.
Series IV. consists of patent materials.
Series V. contains data and diagrams for various research projects. Many of the diagrams are hand drawn.
Series VI. consists of conference materials. Chubb was actively involved with the International Conference on Cold Fusion, so much of the materials in this series relates to his research presented during this conference.
Series VII. consists of organization files organized alphabetically which Chubb was involved professionally.
Series VIII. consists of files on a number of individuals. Many of the files contain research articles, e-mail correspondence, and reports that were collected by Chubb. This series also contains two separate subseries: materials regarding Yoshiaki Arata and Scott R. Chubb.
Series IX. consists of subject files. These materials are general files that were collected by Chubb on numerous topics.
Series X. consists of general research materials such as newsletters and articles.
Series XI. consists of digital records. Many of the records are saved on diskettes, floppy disks, and CDs. Some of the records of these physical formats cannot currently be retrieved. Much of the records on the CD appear to be duplicate materials that currently has a paper copy located in the collection.
Series XII. consists of oversize poster presentation materials.

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.
