Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Douglas O. Woodruff papers (1843-1979) consist of the Woodrufff family correspondence, genealogical and autobiographical information, documents, photos, newspaper clippings, L.D.S. missionary and religious materials, University of Utah student union and alumni association materials, and correspondence from the Association of College Unions, the American Alumni Council, the United States Figure Skating Association, and the American Association of Retired Persons (A.A.R.P.). The largest component of the Woodrufff papers, i.e., boxes 36-48, is comprised of correspondence and materials related to the A.A.R.P. Douglas Woodruff was president of the A.A.R.P. from 1974-1976.
