From the Collection: Glade Peterson (1928-1990) was a professional opera performer and founder of the Utah Opera Company. Born in Fairview, Utah, Glade was responsible for bringing grand opera to Utah. His own career began in 1958 when he made his debut as Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly with the NBC Touring Company in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Most of the photographs in this collection feature Glade as a performer along with other actors and actresses and events of the Utah Opera.

The collection contains 27 black and white, 15 color photographs, varying sizes.
