Lightner, in which she asks Taylor for financial assistance; "Tithes vs. Schools," a Salt Lake Tribune editorial criticizing Mormon tithing collection; an article from the London Daily News, dated November 2, 1883, about Taylor and the church; and a letter from Franklin D. Richards proposing the compilation of a running history of the Taylor presidency.
