Scope and Contents

Encounter between Lemhi-Bannock and a band of Blackfeet, story of one young man who fought in a Shoshoni battle with strangers, a battle involvong four groups of Native Americans, how a Nimi Camp was warned of a Blackfeet raiding party and how they escaped, how a shoshoni woman escaped from her Blackfeet captor, the Deer Children and the Bear Children, and the Rabit tale. Stories appear on pages 92, 83 and 98 of accompanying manuscript. 2 reel-to-reel audiotapes, compact disc copy (2 CDs) Total running time 13 minutes. Interviewed by Lorin Gaarder in Idaho.
